How do I get to Berry’s Chapel?
What to Expect
You’ll find our growing campus at 1777 Berry’s Chapel Road in Franklin, TN. The main entrance is easily marked so you shouldn’t have any problems finding your way in. As you approach the main worship center, one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.
You’ll find out worship services filled with beautiful and inspiring music. The time of worship is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from our minister or guest speaker. This service is usually around one hour in length. Also, at 9:30 am on Sunday, there are Bible classes for all ages. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Berry’s Chapel is to visit one of these adult Bible fellowships.
Where do I take my children?
Starting with nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children two years old and under. For the infants, mothers will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need. There are Bible-centered classes for children aged birth through 5th grade that are fun, friendly, and engaging. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
We would be honored to help you find the appropriate nurseries, classes, and services for every person in your family. Our greeters and ushers are located around and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place.
What about my teens?
Our student ministries are broken down into two main divisions: junior high and high school. The teens attend their classes for one hour and then the worship service with the adults.
How Should I Dress?
There is not a dress code at Berry’s Chapel for members or guests. Some of our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress while others dress more casually; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Berry’s Chapel!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t invite you to church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
Are Nurseries Provided
Loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment so parents can have peace of mind while they attend the adult Bible classes or one of the worship services. Berry’s Chapel has implemented a number of safety features and security measures to ensure that your child will have a safe, enjoyable experience while you attend our services. Volunteers who work with children are carefully interviewed, screened, and trained.
Children’s worship is available for ages 3 years old to Kindergarten at our 10:30 service. It is amazing how much your child will learn in these classes specifically tailored for children. They will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, displaying their crafts, and sharing with you important truths they are learning from the Bible. They will learn things like the importance of obedience, being kind, sharing, and even more important truths, like who Jesus is, and the fact that God loves them and made them for a unique purpose. The teachers and workers are trained, dedicated, compassionate, and excited to be a small part of the life of your child.
